Meet The Author
Julie is a mom of 4 little humans and numerous animals ranging from dogs, birds, reptiles, and a fish named Tony. She loves all things related to fun and adventure including but not limited to reading, writing, Halloween, dinosaurs, zombies, escape rooms, puzzles, collecting books, traveling, and more! She owns over 400 books, her favorite thing to collect. She is known to cover her walls in bright colors and art mostly created by her children or herself. She loves to travel in real life or through the characters in her books. Julie decided to pursue her writing dreams head-on in January 2022, after writing for years prior but never publishing. It was at this time that she decided to devote her full attention to doing only the things that she truly loves. She sincerely believes that outside of motherhood, being a full-time author is her true calling! She hopes her books will not only spark excitement in those who enjoy them but perhaps also lead people, especially her child audience, to want to create books and/or art of their own one day. She does intend to continue mostly self-illustrating her books, but will also work with a talented young co-illustrator on any books that will be more people-oriented. Julie has planned books for all ages; children's picture books, an early readers series, a middle-grade chapter book, and a YA series as well.
